Congratulations 2025 Urban Design Award Recipients
The Urban Design Awards celebrate design excellence and recognize visionary projects that enhance the livability, sustainability, and the beauty of our city.
This year’s Awards mark the 11th edition of the program, building on nearly two decades of recognizing excellence in urban design. A total of 16 professional projects were submitted across several categories, showcasing creative, forward-thinking ideas that reflect how London is growing.
This year’s recipients, including the People’s Choice Award, were announced on October 16. Congratulations to all the award recipients and honourable mentions whose innovative designs are shaping the future of our city.

Award of Excellence:

Join us for a showcase of creativity and innovation
The ideas that shaped this year’s Urban Design Awards will be featured in an exhibition showcasing all of the exceptional project submissions, including the award recipients.
The exhibition will be open for Londoner’s to explore on October 16 and 17, on the Mezzanine level of the Covent Garden Market, 130 King Street, during regular market hours (9 a.m. – 7 p.m.).

Urban design helps create an innovative and connected city through creative, engaging, and attractive architecture and design. The Urban Design Awards raises the bar on urban design in London by awarding projects that represent excellence, innovation and visionary thinking.
The awards take place every two years, and are intended to inspire developers, architects, landscape architects, planners and designers to advance excellence in their own projects.
