Project Update Meeting
While the latest project information would typically be presented at an in-person project update meeting, adjustments are being made to ensure public safety and to follow COVID-19 restrictions on public gatherings. This webpage contains several short videos to help explain the details of the project. If you require any special accommodation in accessing the project information or online material, please contact the City project manager listed on this page (in Who's Listening), and we will work together to best share the information with you.
Transportation Impacts
The City is currently evaluating how pedestrians, motorists, cyclists and transit users could be impacted by this project. More information will be available at the project update meeting. The City has an existing by-law which prohibits parking within 20m of an intersection due to concerns that vehicles parked too close to the intersection makes it unsafe and difficult for other vehicles to navigate safely through the intersection. Any missing “No Parking Anytime” signs will be installed within the time line of this project as per by-law PS-114 Traffic and Parking By-Law 10.1.(c) ‘No person shall park a vehicle or any part of a vehicle in the following locations when appropriate signs have been erected and are on display, which signs are hereby authorized: “…and “ within 20 metres of any intersection.” Any questions or concerns with regards to the installation of ‘No Parking Anytime’ signs can be submitted to parkingregulationchangerequest@london.ca
