About the project

Construction will begin soon to implement traffic calming measures and cycling improvements to Ridout Street South, between Victoria Bridge and Commissioners Road. This project will use a combination of pavement markings and seasonal bollards to manage speeds and improve the safety and comfort for people on bikes.

The proposed pavement markings and bollards are planned to be installed this summer over a two-to-three-week period. There may be loud noises during the removals of the existing pavement markings and minor traffic disruptions during implementation.
