About the project:
The City of London is planning to reconstruct Rectory Street in 2025 to replace aging underground infrastructure that has exceeded its expected lifecycle.
The work includes:
- Removing the current road surface, curbs and gutters
- Replacing watermain, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer
- Renewing private drain connections and water services
- Adding new granular sub-layer, base granular, and asphalt
- Adding new curbs, catchbasins, and gutters
- Boulevard restoration (adding new topsoil and sod)
- New cycling infrastructure
- Tree removals
