People Plan - A Plan for Us

The People Plan Steering Committee is now working alongside the Senior Leadership Team in developing an Implementation Plan. Actions and projects will be identified for each Strategy and people will be assigned from across the organization to lead the work. Information collected through the Focus Groups and surveys will be provided to the project leads, to ensure employee feedback guides the work ahead. And there’ll be many opportunities for employees to continue to provide input as the work unfolds. Regular updates will be provided to employees about the progress for each project.

Will the People Plan be effective 2019-2023, similar to the City's Strategic Plan?

Not necessarily. The People Plan will have actions that may take more time to work on beyond our current Strategic Plan. Development and implementation of the People Plan is however noted in our current Strategic Plan. Our Council understands the importance of this work for our future.
