About this project
The City of London is reconstructing St. Julien Street from Major Street to Trafalgar Street, Major Street from Hyla Street to Hume Street, and Hume Street from Major Street to Trafalgar Street in 2023.
This project includes:
Watermain replacement
Water service replacement to property line
Sanitary sewer replacement
New storm sewer replacement
Partial replacement of existing private drain connections (PDCs)
Tree removals
Sidewalk replacement
Concrete curb replacement
New asphalt road surface
Construction is expected to last one construction season, beginning in spring, with some minor clean-up work in the following spring/summer.
Surface reconstruction and tree assessment report maps are available upon request. Please contact the Project Manager.

Ongoing public engagement
The project team has recorded a narrated Project Update Meeting (PUM) for residents to learn about project details and impacts. The video presentation has been split into three parts and can be accessed on the right-hand side of the page under "Project Update Meeting - Narrated Presentation."
