About the project:
The City of London is planning to construct a concrete sidewalk on McGregor Avenue between Commissioners Road West and Base Line Road West in 2026. This project will replace the existing asphalt walkway that is failing, improving pedestrian accessibility and safety in this busy area.
Property and construction impacts
The City makes every effort to minimize impacts and will restore boulevards and driveways to the pre-construction condition or better. There will be times when you will not have full access to your driveway while the sidewalk is constructed in that area. To help reduce the disruption to your driveway access, please provide feedback about the type of access your business requires by contacting the City Project Manager. The City Project Manager will be on-site regularly, should there be any concerns when the project is underway.
A construction notice will be issued two weeks before construction starts with additional information.
