Public update meeting
The City will be holding a Public Update Meeting to present the recommended design for the Gainsborough Road Rehabilitation project on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. At the meeting, attendees will be able to view construction plans outlining the limits of pavement rehabilitation, proposed construction staging plans, and upgrades planned for the area, including active transportation, sidewalk replacements, installation of a new intersection pedestrian signal, and improvements to streetlighting.

About the project
The City of London is reconstructing Gainsborough Road between Aldersbrook Road and Wonderland Road North.
This project includes:
- Pavement rehabilitation
- Surface drainage upgrades
- Addition of a new Intersection Pedestrian Signal at Gainsborough Road and Limberlost Road
- Streetlighting upgrades
- Addition of active transportation
- Sidewalk replacement
- Concrete curb and gutter installation
