About this project
The City will be reconstructing Foster Avenue, from Edinburgh Street to Oxford Street West, to replace aging infrastructure that has met its expected lifecycle.
This project includes:
Watermain replacement
Water service replacement to property line
Storm sewer replacement
Partial replacement of existing private drain connections (PDC) where applicable
Tree removals
Sidewalk replacement
Concrete curb and gutter replacement
New asphalt road surface
Construction is expected to start in spring 2024 and is anticipated to last until fall 2024 with some minor clean-up work and asphalt paving in spring 2025.
Surface reconstruction and tree assessment report maps are available upon request. Please contact the Project Manager.
