About the project
The City of London is planning to reconstruct Edinburgh Street in your area to replace aging underground infrastructure that has exceeded its expected lifecycle.
Work that will be happening on your street
Work to be completed as part of this road reconstruction project includes:
- Watermain replacement
- Water service replacement to the property line
- Storm sewer replacement
- Partial replacement of existing private drain connections (PDC)
- New sidewalks, curbs, and gutters
- Repaving the road with new asphalt
- Tree removals (see Appendix A)

construction will take place. Work is planned on Edinburgh Street, from Foster
Avenue to the east end (east of Woodward Avenue).
The City of London hosted a public update meeting on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, to provide an update on the project and share information on construction.
