About this project
The City will be reconstructing Brydges Street from Egerton Street to Highbury Avenue North, all of Muir Street, and all of Swinyard Street to replace and improve the quality and reliability of water, sewer and road infrastructure.
Proposed Work Details:
Watermain replacement including water services
Sanitary sewer replacement
New storm sewer installation
Partial replacement of existing private drain connections
New on-road bike lanes on Brydges Street
Elimination of on-street parking on Brydges Street
Sidewalk replacement
Concrete curb replacement
New asphalt road surface
Construction is expected to last two years. Phase One will start in spring 2021 and last until approximately fall 2021. Phase Two will start in spring 2022 and last until approximately fall 2022.

Ongoing public engagement
The project team has recorded a narrated Project Update Meeting (PUM) for residents to learn about project details and impacts. The video presentation has been split into three parts and can be accessed on the right-hand side of the page under "Project Update Meeting - Narrated Presentation."
