About the project
The City of London is planning to widen and improve Bostwick Road between Southdale Road West and Wharncliffe Road South, turning it from a two-lane road into a four-lane civic boulevard. Preliminary design began in May 2025. Construction is expected to start in Spring 2027.

Key improvements include:
- New roundabouts at the future intersections of Pack Road/Bradley Avenue and Hayward Drive
- Realignment of Bostwick Road between Wharncliffe and the future Hayward Drive intersection
- Upgraded underground infrastructure
- New bike paths and sidewalks
- Improved turning lanes to support traffic flow
- New street lighting and signal upgrades
- Landscaping and tree removal as needed
- Design of a new culvert at the Thornicroft Drain
