The City of London purchased the former St Robert Catholic Elementary School property at 1958 Duluth Crescent in 2020 with the goal of increasing housing options in the neighbourhood, including affordable housing.
Planning for a new subdivision on these lands is now underway. The new subdivision is proposed to include low and mid-rise apartment buildings, as well as a park space and opportunity for a community use facility.
Next Steps
Plan of Subdivision and Zoning By-law Amendment applications have been endorsed by the Planning Committee and will be presented at Council on November 7, 2023.
In early 2024, City staff will be working on detailed design of the Duluth Crescent extension prior to construction commencing.
