The City of London purchased the former St Robert Catholic Elementary School property at 1958 Duluth Crescent in 2020 with the goal of increasing housing options in the neighbourhood, including affordable housing.

Planning for a new subdivision on these lands is now underway. The new subdivision is proposed to include low and mid-rise apartment buildings, as well as a park space and opportunity for a community use facility.

Construction started in spring 2025 and is anticipated to last until approximately fall 2025, with some minor cleanup work in spring 2026.
