About this project

The City will be reconstructing Sackville Street from the north end to Ormsby Street to replace and improve the quality and reliability of water, sewer, and road infrastructure.

This project will include:

  • Replacement of watermain and water services
  • Replacement of sanitary and storm sewers
  • Partial replacement of existing sewer private drain connections
  • Sidewalk replacement
  • New concrete curb and gutter
  • Road reconstruction and new road surface

Construction is expected to start in spring 2021 and is anticipated to last until fall 2021.

The map shows the project limits. Work is planned on Sackville Street, from Ormsby Street to CNRA Park. Ongoing public engagement

The project team has recorded a narrated Project Update Meeting (PUM) for residents to learn about project details and impacts. The video presentation has been split into three parts and can be accessed on the right-hand side of the page under "Project Update Meeting - Narrated Presentation."
