About this project
The City of London will begin constructing the Queens Avenue Road Resurfacing & Cycling Improvements project this summer. The project will resurface Queens Ave between Quebec Street and Maitland Street and will better accommodate cycling by switching the location of the bike lane and the on-street parking area. This will provide a smooth road for all users and a more comfortable walking and cycling experience.
The Work
The project includes road work on Queens Avenue extending from Quebec Street to Maitland Street. The resurfacing work will require periodic closures of Queens Avenue to motor vehicles and cyclists, from Quebec Street to Maitland Street, with general traffic detoured to parts of Dundas Street, or Dufferin Avenue.
