Update - October 2021
The channel and slope reconstruction will generally extend from the CN Rail embankment northerly to Oxford Street, along with a new culvert crossing Oxford Street to accommodate the upstream tributary areas that collect and flow into Mud Creek. The channel will be lowered and regraded to increase flow conveyance capacity within the channel. This project will be extensive with significant restorations, tree plantings, multiple habitat features and a recreational multiuse pathway. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of December 2022 with plantings to take place in Spring of 2023.
