Metamora Stormwater Outfall Replacement and Slope Rehabilitation

Proposed improvements

• Replace aging storm sewer outlet infrastructure including new outfall structure
• Improve local surface drainage and capture of runoff into storm sewer system via new curb/gutter and catchbasin inlets
• Construct energy dissipation pools and channel bank protection
• Restore eroded ravine slopes with native grasses, trees, and shrubs

Site Preparations, Erosion Control, and Ecological Considerations

•Metamora Crescent will be closed to local traffic only, access to adjacent houses will be maintained

•Contractor to install tree protection fencing, sediment control fencing, and wildlife exclusion fencing (keeping rodents, amphibians, reptiles and other critters out of the work zone)

•Contractor will mobilize sewer and creek isolation and bypass pumping to ensure work is completed in the dry
