A new Family Centre is coming to the Huron Heights area, and we want to hear from you!

London's newest Family Centre will be located at St. Anne Catholic Elementary School at 1366 Huron Street, and will be opening its doors in early 2025.

Help us plan programs that best meet your community’s needs by completing the brief Family Centre East London survey:

The survey is also available in French, Spanish, Arabic or Urdu. If you choose to completed a translated survey, please send the completed PDF to Vanessa Kinsley at vkinsley@london.ca.

What is a Family Centre?

Family Centres are like community hubs that welcome families from all backgrounds. These centres offer various services right in your neighbourhood, providing support for your family in a well-rounded way.

Imagine Family Centres as easy-to-find places, often found in schools. They are made to be easy to reach for everyone, so you don’t have to go all over the city to different agencies for help.

Families can get connected with information, programs, and services related to:

  • parenting and early learning
  • education, early childhood education and child care
  • public health and wellness
  • recreation, sports, and leisure

The new Family Centre is being led by Childreach, with support from the City of London’s Child Care and Early Years Division.

Thanks for reaching out. The new Child Care will be operated by the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario, and they expect the information about it will be on the onelist within the month. For more information, you can direct your inquiries to their website here: Full Day Child Care | YMCA SWO.
