About this project

The City will be reconstructing Culver Place to repair the road. This work is anticipated to take place in the summer of 2021. Please note that sidewalks have been removed from the project and the street will be rebuilt without them.

This spring, you may see City staff in this area marking trees that are planned to be removed due to poor health or construction related issues

Proposed work details

  • The full road would be removed and reconstructed
  • Catchbasins would be replaced
  • A new curb and gutter would be built
  • New asphalt would be placed
  • Some trees would be removed during this work, and new trees will be planted the following year by the City

The street would remain open to local vehicle traffic with a few possible disruptions to driveway access at different points in the project. Lawns will be restored at the end of the project with topsoil and sod.

For more information about trees and potential impacts, please view the narrated project update or contact the Project Manager.

Ongoing public engagement

The project team has recorded a narrated project update for residents to learn about project details and impacts. Please note that new sidewalks are no longer part of this project. The recorded presentation was made prior to removing sidewalks from the design.
