Manitoba Street and Churchill Avenue Infrastructure Renewal Project

About this project

The City of London is planning a construction project in the area of Manitoba Street and Churchill Avenue to replace aging infrastructure that has exceeded its expected lifecycle.

This project includes:

• Watermain replacement
• Water service replacement to property line
• Sanitary sewer replacement
• Storm sewer replacement
• Partial replacement of existing private drain connections (PDCs)
• Tree removals
• New concrete curb and gutter on Manitoba Street and Churchill Avenue
• Sidewalk replacement
• New sidewalk installation on North side of Churchill Avenue
• Concrete curb replacement on Churchill Avenue
• New asphalt road surface

Construction is expected to start in spring 2022 and is anticipated to last until fall 2022 with some minor clean-up work in spring/summer of 2023.

Ongoing public engagement
