There are plans for improvements at Cavendish Park, located at 136 Cavendish Crescent.

We are seeking input on what features and amenities your community would like to see at this park. Currently, the Parks Planning & Design Team are considering a playground, granular pathways, an enhanced meadow and naturalization, access to the Thames River, improvements to the existing sustainable hiking trail, and tree plantings.

Food hub

The City has received a request from a local community group to create a food hub within the existing works yard at Cavendish Park. The food hub would include a hoop house and raised beds to grow vegetables and teach people about urban agriculture. The emphasis will be on offering training programs for London’s vulnerable populations including people with disabilities, at-risk youth, and food-insecure individuals. The food grown will be distributed to individuals in need. If you would like more information regarding the proposed food hub, please contact Gabor Sass at gabor.sass@uwo.ca.
