About this project
The City of London is planning a construction project to replace aging infrastructure that has met its expected lifecycle and to reroute municipal underground infrastructure to accommodate the future reconstruction of the West London Dyke.
This project includes:
Watermain replacement
Water service replacement to property line
Sanitary sewer replacement and rerouting of trunk sanitary sewer
Storm sewer replacement
Partial replacement of existing private drain connections (PDC)
Tree removals
Sidewalk replacement
Concrete curb and gutter replacement
New asphalt road surface
Construction started in spring 2024 and is anticipated to last until approximately summer 2025.

The City of London hosted a public update meeting on November 30, 2023, at Kiwanis Senior Centre to provide an update on the project. Project boards displayed at the meeting are available on this webpage to download.
