About this project

The City is reconstructing Calgary Street from Dundas Street to Churchill Avenue to replace and improve the quality and reliability of water, sewer and road infrastructure.

Proposed Work Details:

  • Watermain replacement including water service renewal to the property line
  • Sanitary and storm sewer replacement
  • Partial replacement of existing private drain connections
  • Removal of incorrect parking signs on east side of Calgary Street
  • Sidewalk replacement
  • Upgrade from rural to urban street cross section which will include new concrete curbs and gutters
  • New asphalt road surface
  • Rain gardens in the boulevard

Construction started in April 2021 and is anticipated to last until fall 2021 with some minor cleanup work in 2022.
