About this project
The City will be reconstructing Calgary Street from Dundas Street to Churchill Avenue to replace and improve the quality and reliability of water, sewer and road infrastructure.
Proposed Work Details:
Watermain replacement including water service renewal to the property line
Sanitary and storm sewer replacement
Partial replacement of existing private drain connections
Removal of incorrect parking signs on east side of Calgary Street
Sidewalk replacement
Upgrade from rural to urban street cross section which will include new concrete curbs and gutters
New asphalt road surface
Rain gardens in the boulevard
Construction is expected to start in spring 2021 and last until fall 2021 with some minor cleanup work in 2022.

Ongoing public engagement
The project team has recorded a narrated Project Update Meeting (PUM) for residents to learn about project details and impacts. The video presentation has been split into three parts and can be accessed on the right-hand side of the page under "Project Update Meeting - Narrated Presentation."
