We Want to Hear from You!

The Multi-Year Budget process allows Council to look at the City's short, medium and long-term goals and priorities and while many strategies contained in Council’s 2019-2023 Strategic Plan can be accomplished within current funding levels, some strategies will require additional funding to implement. As part of the 2020-2023 Multi-Year Budget, Council is presented with additional investment business cases to support the strategies requiring additional funding in the 2019-2023 Strategic Plan.

These additional investment business cases have been divided into two categories; “Administratively Prioritized” for Council's Consideration, reflecting civic administration’s priorities in light of the fiscal challenges facing the municipality, with the balance of the business cases presented “For Consideration” by Council. Staff were also directed to provide business cases for "Potential Net Levy Reduction Business Cases for Council's Consideration."

The budget team is looking to hear from Londoners on all the business cases - additional investment and reduction - and where you think additional funding should or should not be spent to ensure Council has as much information as possible during budget deliberations.

We want to hear from you!

Engagement and Key Dates

Have Your Voice Heard.

The #LdnBudget team wants to make sure that Londoners have the opportunity to fully engage in the 2020-2023 Multi-Year Budget process.

This past summer the budget team was out and about gathering Londoners feedback on which City provided services were/are important to them. The team also provided a survey that residents could fill out and provide their feedback to the team on this website. The team has compiled all the responses from the pop-up events and survey.

As the 2020-2023 Multi-Year Budget process moves forward, the team wants to ensure you have as many opportunities to engage in the process as possible. Below are the key dates of both City and community-led engagement opportunities happening in the next little while. As well, don't forget to provide your feedback on the "Administratively Prioritized Business Cases for Council's Consideration" and "For Consideration" by Council additional investment business cases and the "Potential Net Levy Reduction Business Cases for Council's Consideration" for the 2020-2023 Multi-Year Budget.
